Meridian overview

Meridian is the independent ClearPoint system of record for AI-workforce identity, delegated authority, policy, reconciliation, coverage, containment, and customer evidence.

What this covers

Meridian owns workforce Agent Passports and the records used to review them. An Agent Passport brings together identity, declared capabilities, ownership, policy attachments, certification status, and available runtime posture. A policy envelope describes boundaries such as allowed data, actions, approvals, and output handling. Anchor may sign a bounded artifact or evidence envelope; that signature is not the workforce passport and does not expand the signed scope.

This ownership boundary is accepted architecture. It does not mean that every named Meridian slice is implemented or generally available. Records support review and accountability, but do not by themselves prove runtime enforcement. Enforcement confidence belongs to one exact action path and its current evidence.

How it works

Guided mode and Pro mode are intended to present the same authority model in different ways. Guided mode can explain options and prepare a proposal. Pro mode exposes more direct controls. Availability must be checked against the current release; target behavior is not proof of a live control.

Meridian's guided assistance can explain options and prepare proposals. Its suggestions remain proposals until an authorized person completes the required confirmation.

Limits

Helm, not Meridian, owns Workbench conversations and runtime. Meridian may administer or embed Workbench without inheriting ownership of that execution surface. Do not describe an agent or fleet as governed when the available proof is only attested or unverified.
